Green manure mixture "White mustard” is a source of enriching the soil with phosphorus and sulfur. Mustard is good at structuring the soil and suppressing weed growth and reducing pests. Due to active growth a dense green mass is formed in 30 days, which is well embedded in the soil. White mustard is an ecologically clean and effective source of organic matter to increase the fertility of humus-poor loamy and especially sandy loam soils.
Seeding rate: 250–400 g per are. For pest control (wireworm, nematode) the rate is increased to 600 g. This amount is enough to suppress the growth of weeds and remove harmful microflora and pests from the soil. If it is not required, mustard is used only to improve soil structure; seed consumption can be reduced to 100 g per are.
